The Chelsea

The room was ok. The Hallway was dark and looked aged. But I was happy with the room itself. The walk to the room was far from the parking garage. Only machine check out was available when we wanted to leave. Getting to the room was a bit confusing due to the size of the casino itself. All in all I had a good time.

What a gorgeous inn!! It’s unique, comfortable, beautiful… We had a double queen bedroom and the rooms were very clean and felt new. Given the decor, they could have easily felt worn out if anything was the least bit old, but they didn’t. Clean and fresh is how I would describe the rooms. They have a very cute patio that I sadly didn’t get a chance to use, and multiple sitting rooms, all uniquely furnished. I felt like I was at an inn in the England countryside.

The best beach on the boardwalk. Easy access to go back and forth to your room. It is the southern most hotel. If you're a beach goer in the summer, it's the best choice. The beach is larger than the others and it is unobstructed. Best to stay more central or north during colder weather.

Started off with the two of us. Ended up me staying alone. I guess my luck ran out in the casino .

Basic room two queen beds, comfortable. Fairly nice room with a pretty good view. I felt that the surfaces were not very clean. My biggest issue is when you check in, the lines are extremely long , because we did not know our way around, we parked in the garage that led us to the Havana check in, if you do not know your way around which we did not, there is a lot of walking. Feels like miles. I still don't know if there is a parking garage for Chelsea or where we should have parked to make it a little easier and not have to tack on a half hour to get to our other activities that were planned, Not a whole lot of staff to help you get around. However, the security guards were fantastic. When you ask them questions, they are so helpful! Also if you need to call the front desk you cannot get them. You have to go through the whole entire process as if you were making a reservation. If you forgot to bring something you're out of luck, you have to use the vending machine and give them your credit card, which I think is pretty ridiculous. So much for human interaction, for us It's pretty hard getting used to that . I personally think every hotel should have a front desk staff with easy access to speak to at any time of their stay. If we ever decide to go back we wouldn't mind staying at Tropicana we just have to figure out what is closest to the casino, oh, and not need anything.

Room was in the old wing but comfortable. TV remote didn't work. And staff knocked on the door at 830 so that wasn't the best way to enjoy vacation and she checked us out so we lost a credit we were supposed to get at the desk. Still need to speak to guest relations about that

I was concerned about reviews but our room was fine. Bed was clean and comfortable. Slightly dated but obvious that updates had been made. Love the walk in shower and shampoo, conditioner, body wash provided! Drinks at the pool were so expensive we chose not to spend time thete. Mic Ultra $8.99 was the cheapest option. High Noons were $11.99! That was discouraging. Staff was friendly and professional.
